If anyone has any information on the potential future of helicopters or have a suggestion about their future, please comment. If it was up to me to decide what occurs in the future for helicopters, I strongly believe that Helicopters should be able to spawn in a helicopter at the start of the match with a reduced payload as well as less and lower end ATGMs for what the helicopter has access to, for example AH-64A should only be allowed to spawn in with 38 rocket pods and only 4 AGM-114A. I guess Gaijin listened to the community to some extent by reducing their usage but now people who use helicopters, spent all their time researching them, spent money for helicopters, may now feel 'scammed' to an extent. As you may have seen from previous posts I HATE planes, but I do not share the same opinion for helicopters because I can easily counter them whilst in a TANK. Yet helicopters have to save up quite a bit of Spawn Points to be able to at least bring in ATGMs. I only just made my way to the middle of the map and he killed me, absolute PATHETIC. ![]() This is very disappointing considering all he had was a capture (he did not capture the point on his own, as 2 others got a capture as well at the same time) and a death. Helicopters seem to get killed very easily and to note they are quite costly to spawn in with ATGMs as well, recently I have been getting killed by planes like P-47 with quite large bombs in 10.3 near the start of the match. Which now I barely get to actually use it sadly. ![]() In one way or another I am happy to see Tank matches with very minimal aircraft but at the same time Helicopters just do not have their own game mode, I spent time researching 390,000 RP AA just for 10.0-10.3 matches. Now most matches I am lucky to see a helicopter at the start, my team is all in tanks. I do not use helicopters but I do use tanks all the way to 10.3, helicopters do not make as much of an appearance as they used to, from having 3-4 players at the start of the match in helicopters, a few AA as well (never used to get killed by helicopters in previous 1.95).
